Restrictions and house rules

If you’re tall, please book the queen room. The bed in the single room won’t be comfortable for you.

Guests need to be able to climb stairs: the bedrooms and main bathroom are upstairs.

Guests are welcome to reheat meat dishes, but meat may not be cooked in the house, sorry. (This includes red meat, fish and poultry.) I’m 99% vegetarian and I can’t stand the smell. The nearby supermarkets and restaurants have many options, or you can order in.

Smokers and vapers are welcome but must smoke or vape outside, well away from any open windows. There is a covered area in case of rain.

Guests may park in the driveway for up to 15 minutes only (otherwise my neighbours and me can’t get our cars out). There is free street parking nearby.

The house is not suitable for children, infants or pets, sorry.

Commercial photography or filming at the house is not allowed.

Guests may not hold events or parties at the house.

Even though we’re near the University, the neighbourhood is quiet. However, occasionally on a Friday or Saturday evening there is a student party nearby.
